For over 15 years, Deen Intensive Foundation has offered the summer-intensive Rihla program. The main objective of the Rihla curriculum is to provide students with knowledge that is both a religious duty for each Muslim to learn (fard ‘ayn) and immediately applicable in life. It seeks to provide an inner transformation rooted in sound knowledge and spiritual discipline.
The courses include an understanding of essential Muslim creed (‘aqidah), the sacred law (fiqh), and the foundations of spiritual excellence. The teachers are Dr Umar F. Abd-Allah, Abdal Hakim Murad, Muhammad al-Ninowy, Omar Quresh, Sara Sabbagh, Afroz Ali, Faraz Khan and Feraidoon Mojadedi.
This year's program will be held in Malaysia from July 15 to August 7, 2017.
Application period is now over, but the entire program will be available to a global audience for free through the Rihla Livestream service.
