Night of Power
Lastprophet.Info / Ramadan / Sezai Karakoç

The Night of Power is a night praised by the Quran, because the Night of Power is the night the Quran descended. If the Quran had not been revealed, the universe and existence would have remained a riddle whose secret could not be known.

Anniversary of the Quran's First Revelation
Lastprophet.Info / Ramadan / Selva Özelbaş

The month of Ramadan is the anniversary of the Qur'an's first revelation or, in other words, the anniversary of the beginning of the call to Islam. Besides this blessed month and night, no other month or other night is distinctly mentioned in the Qur'an with a different name, especially with praise.

Fasting: Cement Block-Busting
Lastprophet.Info / Ramadan / Sezai Karakoç

Just as spring cleaning is made in a house once a year when the cob webs are swept away, the roof is repaired, and the house is cleaned, repaired and painted, our souls need such a general cleaning and revision once a year.

Training the Soul Beginning from the Body
Lastprophet.Info / Ramadan / Ali Murat Daryal, PhD

A Common Form of Worship: Fasting
Lastprophet.Info / Ramadan / Ömer Faruk Harman, Prof.

Coming like a Miracle Each Year
Lastprophet.Info / Ramadan / Sezai Karakoç

Lastprophet.Info / Ramadan / Mustafa Ulusoy, PhD

God's Messenger kissed Al-Hasan bin Ali (his grandchild) while Al-Aqra' bin Habis At-Tamim was sitting beside him. Al-Aqra said, "I have ten children and I have never kissed anyone of them", God's Messenger cast a look at him and said, "Whoever is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully." (Bukhari, Good Manners and Form (Al-Adab), 18)
